Are you looking for a unique housing opportunity in Northampton, MA that could also benefit your own self-growth? Windhorse Integrative Mental Health is seeking a Therapeutic Housemate: a grounded person to live and work with someone seeking recovery... and well-being.

A Therapeutic Housemate lives in a 2 bedroom apartment in downtown Northampton with a Windhorse client--an individual experiencing significant emotional distress: depression, schizophrenia, trauma, etc. who needs caring interaction during their recovery process. Housemates spend 2-4 hours a day with the client they are living with, and each household in Northampton is fully supported by a clinical team that is rooted in mindfulness and compassion.

Experience in the mental health field is not required. Having a personal contemplative discipline (meditation, yoga, etc.) is supportive to this job. We are looking for a responsible person. No drugs or alcohol. Experience in shared living situations is preferred.

Benefits include: free rent and utilities, weekly stipend of $375, $450/month personal food allowance, the freedom to work up to 25 hrs/week at another job, ongoing training and supervision, 1 week of paid leave every 6 months and 3 paid days off per month
