Sugarloaf Estates

My name is Hannah and I'm 27. I'll be graduating from UMass nursing school in December. I plan to stay in the area for work, while my current roommate will be moving out sometime in December, so I’ll have a room available in my apartment. I am very... friendly, reliable, easygoing, and very respectful of shared spaces. We don’t have to be best friends, but I do hope we can get along and communicate well so we're both comfortable.

The apartment is on the first floor (half below ground level) in an apartment complex in Sunderland. It’s surrounded by beautiful scenery including an adorable goat farm across the street, Mount Sugarloaf hiking trails, and several farm stands. A small market is within walking distance, and big chain/grocery stores are just a 10 minute drive away. I-91 is also a short 5 minute drive away so it's easy to travel to other neighboring towns. The lease would be from December 2025 to August 2026. Rent includes all utilities and amenities except electricity, which typically runs about $30–60 per person per month depending on usage. The complex is pet-friendly but there is a monthly pet rent starting at $25.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 shared bathroom. The available bedroom has a built-in shelf around the perimeter of the room. The unit includes a front-loading washer and dryer, dishwasher, air conditioner, and a breakfast bar in the kitchen. There’s vinyl flooring throughout, plus both a front and back door with deadbolt locks.

The property offers great amenities: a pool, gym, playground, dog park, hammock park, big lawn, volleyball and basketball courts, fire pit, bike racks, and outdoor propane and charcoal grills. The complex is on the PVTA Bus 31 route, with a bus stop right in the main parking lot. Parking is free and snow removal is well-managed. The maintenance team is friendly and responsive, and garbage/recycling dumpsters are located at the end of each parking lot. The leasing office regularly hosts community events like “Popcorn Fridays” and monthly raffles.
A cosigner is not required but it is preferred (because I currently have one). This is not a sublet, we would be signing a new lease together and you would be replacing the name of the person moving out.

If you’re interested, please reach out! I’d love to show you around and get to know you :)
