Sugarloaf Estates

My name is Hannah, my current roommate and I are both second degree bachelor's students in the nursing program at UMass but will be graduating in December. I will be looking for a job in the area but my roommate will be leaving the lease (sometime in... mid-November/early December) and I will have a room open in my apartment. I'm very friendly, reliable, easy-going, and respectful of shared spaces.

It's an apartment on the first floor (half below ground floor). It's a very nice and historical apartment complex in Sunderland. Surrounded by an adorable goat farm, Mount Sugarloaf hiking trails, and other farm stands; there is a small market down the street (walking distance) and only a 10 minute drive the all the big store shopping on Russell Street. On the property there is a pool, gym, playground, dog park, hammock park, big lawn, backyard areas for each building, bike racks, sand volleyball court, basketball court, fire pit, outdoor propane and charcoal grills. We're directly on the bus route for PVTA Bus 31 and there is a bus stop shack in the main parking lot of the complex. Parking lots are free and open spaces and they take care of snow removal. The service team is super friendly and awesome, they take care of things right away if you need to put in a service request. Garbage and recycling dumpsters are at the end of each parking lot. The leasing office hosts popcorn Fridays every Friday and other complex-wide events and raffles almost every month. Monthly rent includes all utilities except electricity (depending on the season and use of lights/devices, I've seen it range anywhere from $30-60 per person per month). The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, bedroom that will become available is slightly bigger than the other one. There is a built-in shelf around the whole bedroom. There is a front loading washer and dryer in the unit, vinyl flooring throughout, dishwasher, air conditioner, and a breakfast bar in the kitchen. There is a front door and a back door, both have deadbolt locks. The complex is pet friendly but they do have a separate pet rent thats around $25 per month.

I prefer my future roommate to have a cosigner when they sign the lease because I was required to have one applying as a student. Although you may have an income, my cosigner would be named responsible for the whole lease unless you have your own. It is not a deal breaker, but it is preferred.

Please reach out if you're interested! Feel free to come take a tour and get to know me :)
