Medium sized room near UMass

We are a friendly family with a medium sized room with small closet available in our home which is located in a quiet residential neighborhood off East Pleasant Street. The walk to UMass from our house is 25 minutes, and there is a bus stop for PVTA... route 33 at the end of our road (less than 5 minute walk) which goes through UMass and Amherst center. There is a shared kitchen that can be used and a shared bath with a tiled walk-in shower, and parking on the road in front of our house. A washer and dryer are available in the basement. Heat, electricity and wifi are all included in the rent.

The room is available starting over the summer, or for the fall semester. A short term rental (a few months) is our preference, but longer term rentals will be considered. Any rental is on a month to month agreement which allows us or the renter to end the rental with a month's notice if it is not working out for either of us.

We are looking for a renter who generally does not come home very late at night or have guests over much, and definitely no smoking, drugs or alcohol. We appreciate some quiet in the home especially after a long day. The room is for one person only, no couples or overnight guests. Non-family references will be required.
