Quiet, no-smoking apartment in family neighborhood--The free bus is within 3 minutes walk. Easy biking/walking to UMASS--one mile. No car needed.

The 2-3 bedroom apartment is in a converted 1800s house with a newly renovated kitchen. It is located... in downtown Amherst, two blocks to the free PVTA bus, 1 mile walk/bike to UMass, and a 5 minute walk to the center of town and Amherst College (restaurants, bookstore, weekend farmers market, CVS, banks, entertainment, etc.). The owners are on site.

Each room is furnished--bed, desk, chair, lamp, clothing storage. There is a washer/dryer in the apartment. There are hardwood floors in the bedroom and hallway, and linoleum in kitchen and bathroom. There are kitchen supplies--dishes and pots and cutlery.

There is no smoking of any kind in the apartment or on the property. Because it is a quiet house, the tenants entertain elsewhere.

The rent is $2200 monthly —price includes hot water. Tenants pay oil, electricity and internet cost.
