1 Bedroom Aparment in South Amherst in Residential Home

Hello!
I'm seeking a professional or graduate student for a private, comfortable, and furnished all-inclusive 1BR rental in residential home in South Amherst. The rental has a separate entry with parking in the driveway. It's available June 1, 2025...
through part of May 2026, possibly longer. Negotiation is possible for a different end date.

A spacious and relaxing spot, it's a perfect place for a professional, graduate student, or visiting scholar to work, read, and/or relax. Surrounded by nature, wildlife abounds. Afternoon light and sunset skies are visible through the southwest living room and bedroom windows.

This quiet rental is in a great location, about one mile from a main bus line (Route116). The house is about 1 mile from Hampshire College, 3 miles from downtown Amherst and Amherst College, 4 miles from UMass, 8 miles from Mount Holyoke College, and 9 miles from Smith. Restaurants closer to the immediate area (in addition to dining in town) include a cafe, a Cali-Mex and Salvadorian restaurant, a pub and a pizza shop. Big Y, Stop and Shop, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods are all about 3 to 4 miles away.

Rent is $1850/month through May. Summer month rental is from June 1 through August 31st- Please inquire if interested! Use of scent free products is respectfully requested.
Rent includes heat, AC, hot water, electricity, wifi/secure internet, and trash/recycling pickup. Living quarters include cable TV access, a full futon/couch, reading chairs, a table-desk work area, and kitchen dining. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, closet, lamps, shelving, and bureau. The kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, microwave, cook top, a coffee maker, a countertop convection oven perfect for cooking and baking, and a full-sized washer and dryer. Basic cookware and kitchen supplies (dishes, silverware, cups, pots, pans, etc.) are provided. A corner kitchen nook provides a nice spot for dining. Or enjoy your morning coffee or meals right outside at the patio table!

Located in a beautiful area with numerous trails in the immediate neighborhood and beyond, including nearby wooded paths up Mount Pollux and 10-minute drive to the Holyoke range with fantastic views of surrounding mountains and aerial views of the Pioneer Valley and beyond. Road and mountain biking as well as XC skiing, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing are all accessible. We offer some storage for your biking and skiing gear!

1st month, last month, and security deposit are required, as well as references from current landlord, landlord just prior to current landlord, current employer, and a credit check.

If interested, please provide your name, and initially contact us by email and write RENTAL in the subject area. Please share your contact information, including your cell number, and introduce yourself– Why are you interested in renting here? If possible, share a little about yourself too. We're happy to talk with you, if you have any questions.

Looking forward to meeting and speaking with you!
