A medium sized furnished room (can be unfurnished) with small closet is available in our home which is located in a quiet residential neighborhood off East Pleasant Street. The walk to UMass from our house is 15 minutes, and there is a bus stop for... PVTA route 33 at the end of our road (less than 5 minute walk) which goes through UMass and Amherst center. There is a shared kitchen and shared bath, and parking in the driveway. A washer and dryer are available in the basement. Heat, electricity and wifi are all included in the rent.
The room is available for the spring semester (or a portion of the semester). Any rental is on a month to month agreement. We have a very sweet and friendly dog, so anyone allergic or afraid of dogs would not be a good fit. There is one other room in the house that is rented to a student, and the house is owner-occupied.
No smoking, drugs or alcohol in the home. It's a fairly quiet house, perfect for studying, and the room is for one person only, no couples or overnight guests. Non-family references will be required.
