Private Bedroom in a 3-Bedroom Condo - Grad Student Roommates 🏠Location: 170 E Hadley Rd UNIT 94, MA Earliest Move-In Date: February 1st, 2025
Hey there! Adam and I are two graduate students looking for a third housemate. We have an open room in a... 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom condo with a move-in date of September 1st, 2025!
Housing Details: • Quick commute to UMass campus - < 3 miles (10 min drive or 20 min ride) • Water, snow and garbage removal are included in rent • WiFi and electric are split equally among tenants. We are somewhat new to the place and are still figuring out heating costs. (Per month per person estimates: Heat ~$125; Wifi $25) • Household costs (i.e. dish soap, paper towels) are split equally, but we otherwise cook and take care of ourselves.
Apartment Highlights: • Large kitchen, living and dining area • Laundry on premises with additional storage available in basement area • Bus stop nearby (On Route 31 free bus line to UMass and Amherst downtown) with quick access to shopping and groceries. • Open and relaxed communication between roommates • Ideal for graduate students seeking a peaceful and supportive environment
About the Room: • Private, unfurnished bedroom with closet space and window • Rent is $680 a month, it includes visitor parking spaces with guest access and trash/snow removal • You would be subleasing with Adam and I with an opportunity to join a lease renewal, please set up a Zoom meeting go over this with us • Departing roommate is willing to sell/leave some items such as the full sized bed frame and new mattress (bought in November 2024)
• Tim - I am a PhD candidate in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering. I enjoy football, basketball, manga, anime, comics, art, and videogames. I'm pretty easygoing and pretty open to exploring new things. I'd love to find a roommate who's into similar hobbies. A laid-back atmosphere most of the time would be ideal as I'm a light sleeper.
• Adam - Yo! I am a PhD candidate in Kinesiology. I like to run the local trails, animate, and watch shows with Tim when we get a chance. As a housemate, I am big on problem solving, and appreciate communication within the household. I would love a roommate who is considerate of our shared spaces and who respects a clean and peaceful environment. We’ve had good luck creating a supportive and warm place to live in the past! Can’t ask for much more.
In summary, we are big on laughter and relaxation, and we take pride in a safe and comfortable living space. An ideal roommate would be someone who respects the shared space, communicates well, and collaborates to resolve any issues that may arise. Let's set up a Zoom call to chat further! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you're interested in joining our household.
