Sunny room in lovely furnished home by forest, $780

Room for rent in lovely, spacious house; $780

Beautiful house in gorgeous wooded area with hiking trails. 15 minutes to Northampton. To U Mass Amherst, it takes 9 MINUTES by car. (Note: we are not on a bus route) This is a bright, spacious,...
3-bedroom furnished house on a quiet road with lots of trees, off Rt. 116 in Sunderland. Lots of great features; read on!

There is one unfurnished bedroom for rent at $780, plus a third of the electric bill. (I pay for the other utilities, including hi-speed internet). The room is 12 ft by 12 ft with a good-sized closet and hard-wood floor. Storage is available in garage and shed. Plenty of driveway parking. Washer and dryer downstairs. Heating is electric with thermostats in each individual room. Full bathroom upstairs and 3/4 bath downstairs (shower but no tub). Shared kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom. Lovely front balcony on upper level. Gas barbecue in back. Piano available. Large downstairs den is available for exercising, art, projects, and a guest bed.

No tobacco smoking, no more pets (I have 2 cats). Rent is month to month, first month and security deposit required, ($1560 to move in).

About me: Mature professional woman (psychologist, writer, artist), working from home, single, female, sociable, progressive politics. Enjoys swimming laps at the Y, movies, interesting conversation.

About you: Interested in a household with good communication, shared responsibilities. Working from home is ok. Conservative politics and religiosity not. Sense of humor important.

We try to make this our Home and community, not just a place to crash, so we have dinner together every 2 weeks! Queer friendly. Students welcome. 420 friendly.

Please write and tell me about yourself so we can find a time for you to tour!

About the photos: Your room will be the only room that is not furnished. The kitchen, living room and rest of the house will be fully equipped (dishes, microwave, pans, etc. etc.)

Looking forward to finding the right person!
Marlene
