Spring 2027 Furnished Private Room Near Downtown | Free Wifi, Water & W/D House (Sublet / Shared Housing)

Private bedroom available for the Spring 2027 semester in a shared house in Amherst, MA. This is an all-male house, so we're looking for a male housemate. You'll be living with a group of guys and sharing the kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms.... The house has a laid-back, social vibe, and it's home to a few student-athletes, so expect some quiet stretches when people are training or studying and the occasional livelier night or get-together.

The room: Comes with a full-size bed frame (mattress available if you'd like it), a desk and desk chair, a set of drawers, a trash can, and an AC unit to keep you comfortable in the warmer months. There are two windows for plenty of natural light, plus a closet for your things.

The desk, chair, and drawers have been passed down from tenant to tenant, so I'd ask that they stay in the room when you move out to make things easier for the next person. Some of the larger furniture in the photos will likely stay too, but only the items listed above are guaranteed. Most of the smaller items and decor are mine and will be leaving unless we've talked about it, so if there's something you'd like to keep, just ask and I'm happy to discuss.

The house: In-house washer and dryer in the basement utility room, a large backyard with a firepit, and a driveway with street parking available. WIFI is included and already paid for through the year. No pets allowed.

Location: Everything is close. Downtown Amherst is a 3-minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk. Campus is a 5-minute drive or a 25-30 minute walk, and there's a bus stop about 3 minutes' walk away (0.15 miles). Errands are easy, with Ace Hardware right next door and Dunkin' and a local package store just down the street.

Costs: Rent is $608.33/month, and water and internet are included. Electric typically runs around $30-60/month per person, depending on the season and usage. The house is heated with oil. The tank was recently filled, so a refill may not be needed during the Spring semester. If one is, it costs about $100-$200 total, split among residents.
