I am looking for a housemate to join me in my generously-sized home in beautiful Shutesbury.

Your rent would include:
- A spacious carpeted bedroom with double wide closet. The room is available either furnished or not, depending on your preference,... pictured here with the available furniture.
- Semi-private bathroom (guests to the house would use this bathroom, but otherwise it would be your domain)
- A full sized refrigerator with freezer for your own use.
- Utilities and wifi.
- Eggs from my backyard flock of chickens
- Storage space in the basement
- Access to laundry in basement
- Off street parking

For an additional fee, you have the option to occupy a second room, if you’d like a work space or private hang out space or similar.

House amenities:
- Gas fireplace for cozy winter evenings
- Screened porch with lounge area
- Comfortable living room and dining area
- Large kitchen
- Lots of outdoor space
- Close to extensive conservation land, including but not limited to the Quabbin Reserve, with walking trails, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Lake Wyola and its public beach is less than 10 minutes away.
- Approximately 20 minutes to UMass and the Five College area, grocery stores and other shopping. Delivery services will deliver here, if that’s your jam.

About me: I work for UMass on a hybrid schedule and am thus home several working days a week. I have a cat, so if you are allergic this is likely not the right option for you.
