Modern, Light-Filled Home walking distance to UMass Amherst

This modern light-filled, fully furnished home provides the peace and quiet of living in the country, with all the amenities of living in the city. Built in 2017, it boasts new appliances, loft-vibes, big windows, spacious front porch, and... hardwood/polished cement floors.

Here's a breakdown of all the spaces in this home:

Living/Dining/Kitchen space:
- One big open living space with tall ceilings, great for hosting.
- Unique loft space (used for storage/bookshelf).
- Open closet area in the entryway to store coats and shoes, plus a utility closet.
- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove/oven unit, microwave, electric kettle, etc.

Bedroom 1:
- This is a small room, but I find it very cozy. Just big enough for my queen bed and a couple of nightstands. It's perfect for leaving behind all the noise and chaos after a long day.
- There's no closet in this bedroom, but there is a hall closet for extra storage.

Bedroom 2/Office:
- This room has my WFH office set up: standing desk, monitor, etc. Right next to a large window, great for bird watching during a zoom meeting.
- This room also has a full sized bed, full closet, and bookcase filled with boardgames (which you'd be welcome to play!)

Bathroom:
- Full bathtub + rain shower head.
- Window and vent for good ventilation.

This house has many other features I love, including:
- Stacked Washer and Dryer
- Solar panels to keep utilities low!
- Compost bin out back
- A spacious front porch
- Two trees out back perfectly spaced for hanging a hammock (hammock included!)
- Beautiful views of a nearby farm (pictured)
- Large shared yard

Location:
- walking distance to UMass Amherst (<1.5 mi, ~30 min), and downtown Amherst (also <1.5 mi, ~30 min)
- Far from the main road, so it's very quiet.
- Wildwood cemetery woods are right behind the house and have well-maintained trails.
- FYI the house is right next to the train tracks, but it's freight only. The train comes only a few times a week and never at night.

Perfect for faculty, graduate students, and professionals. I would love for someone to stay here the entire time I'm away (Jan-Aug) but I'm flexible! Feel free to message me with questions.
