Cozy bedroom in historic neighborhood close to Smith College, walking trails and the PVPA

The house is a historic brick townhouse near the Mill River in Baystate Village in Northampton. The room is on the second floor and is fully furnished. It’s adjacent to a large bathroom with a jetted tub and shower. We have a garden, multiple cats... and are located about one mile from the Smith campus. We can accomodate summer rentals and are also looking to rent one of the the three bedrooms for the academic year or beyond. We are a couple with college-aged daughters. One of our daughters is a student at UMass and visits monthly the others are far-flung. We love to cook, garden, play cribbage, walk, and enjoy our cats. We work from home and travel frequently often visiting family for extended periods. We are looking for someone who will be respectful of the space as it is an open concept and sound travels. There may be some cat care responsibilities when we travel. We also have a space in the basement (normal ceiling height, full bathroom, washing machine pull-out sofa) for someone studying for the summer ($850 per month). We are .8 miles to the nearest PVPA bus stop and parking is included.
