I am looking for a new tenant to take over my lease, which ends on 5/31/26, for my bedroom in a 3bdr/1.5bath condo on Gatehouse Road in Amherst. It is a fairly large bedroom with ample closet space. It can be furnished or unfurnished. All three... bedrooms and the full bathroom are on the second floor. On the first floor are the kitchen, living room, dining space, and the half bathroom, and a back porch facing a pond and a large willow tree. We have a washer and dryer in the basement.

The room is available 12/1/25, but the move-in date is flexible, so let me know if you have a different date in mind.

The rent is $867 per month plus utilities (electric and internet). The current lease ends on 5/31/26, but you have the option to renew.

We are about 4 miles away from the UMass campus. The 30 and 45 bus stops are within a 5 minute walk, and biking to (the farthest end of) campus takes about 20 minutes. It's about a 10-15 min drive to the parking lot near the computer science building.

It is also a great location for running/exercising; the condo is located next to Hampshire Athletic Club, only 1.5 miles away from the bike trail (via Fort Hill), and 1/4 mile away from the Robert Frost trail system.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms. One of your roommates will be a female PhD student in German studies. The second other roommate is a PhD student in comparative literature. Both roommates are in their 30's.

The apartment is in a quiet condo building , and we maintain a good relationship with our neighbors, so the room is best suited for graduate students and professionals.
