13 Maple Ave housing

I am looking for someone to take over my lease since I am planning to move in May. My current lease actually ends in August, but I need to move early due to personal reasons and can not stay longer when my lease ends. Looking for someone to fulfill a... new lease through 8/30/26. Move in date is flexible. Location! This is a great downtown Northampton location! It's a three-minute walk to the 5-College bus stop, close to Smith College and a very short distance to the entrance of Rt. 91. Also, the house is right next to the new bike path to Easthampton/Union Station/Amherst. This is an especially convenient apartment for someone without a car. This is a town-house style apartment with an oak cabinet kitchen and two bathrooms. The kitchen has appliances and kitchen utensils and the living room is fully furnished. There is a washer and dryer within the apartment. There is off-street parking. Also, there is a yard with flower gardens and a picnic table. The unfurnished bedroom that is available has three sunny windows, two closets, a ceiling fan, and a wood floor.

Three women, grad students and working, seek one other person to share a clean and tidy living space. Cleaning your dishes immediately is a non-negotiable, minimum standard and we would really like someone who cheerfully pitches in on their share in the household chores.
While we all have very busy schedules, we want to come home to a friendly, congenial, quiet atmosphere to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

*Prefer a female roommate*

The lease runs to August 30, 2026

They would have to be clean, quiet and considerate.
· Observe the rules of the household.

· Have previous housemate experience in an apartment outside of the college campus.

· Have an excellent history of cleaning up after themselves and cheerfully doing their share of the chores.

· Totally non-smoking person. This means no “once in a while social smoker” or “only smokes outside the apartment.”

· Drug free

Pet free
Be willing to pay for first, last and security deposit and to be able to afford the monthly rent.
