LOOKING FOR ROOMMATE AY 2026-2027


I am looking for another roommate (male or female) to sign for an apartment in Northampton together from 08/15/2026 - 08/12/2027.

1) 77 prospect st, Northampton
2) 2 beds/1 bath
3) partially furnished. Common... space will have some furniture. Kitchen will have some utensils. Bedroom will be unfurnished.
4) rent: $1000 + utilities (wifi and electricity). Utilities are usually around $50-$80 per person, per month.
5) Heat, gas, and water are included in rent. 
6) Gas stove

9) 6 min walk to smith college bus stop (B43)

It is a very cozy and peaceful apartment, in a really charming building. There is a balcony, with a great view as well. I have lived here for a semester so far and i have no complaints. There is a big garden access with the building where people play volleyball and host picnics and grills in the summer. My other roommate is moving out over the summer and so i am looking for someone else to take over the lease with.

About me: I am a (cis-gendered male) PhD student in Philosophy at UMass. I am outgoing, but also like my quiet time. I love to lift weights, run, watch tv shows, sketch at coffee shops, and cook. I don't host much but might have a friend or two occasionally. I would love to be friends with my roommate, or at least be on friendly terms. I do not play loud music at home, and am super chill about things like sharing groceries, splitting chores, etc.
