Beautiful, newish, energy efficient apartment for rent in North Amherst near Puffers Pond. One bedroom plus study available June 1st. The space is ideal for one person or a couple We are looking for quiet,responsible, tenant(s) The apartment has... its own separate entrance. Pictures attached.

Rent is $1,520 plus utilities $163. This includes heat, propane, air conditioning,internet, trash collection, plow service, lawn mowing,and off-street parking. A washer and dryer may also be possible.

Some more about our house and neighborhood. Our house is 10 years old. The house is very energy efficient, powered by the sun, with heat pumps and mini-splits.and solar panels.

There is space for a garden, we compost, and have a friendly connection with our neighbors. We are a very short walk from two bus lines and a quick bike ride to UMASS and Amherst center.
We are gradually creating pollinator gardens and edible landscaping. There is outdoor lawn furniture including a table and chairs for dining alfresco and a new stone patio.. We value having a friendly connection with our downstairs neighbors.

We are a half block from a bus stop that heads to UMass and to Hadley where there are grocery stores and everything else you might
need. The Mill District is just two blocks away with some new shops,including a coffee shop.mexican restaurant, general store/art gallery, and ice cream parlor.. We live a block from a waterfall and in walking distance of a beautiful swimming and ice skating pond (weather permitting) A network of hiking trails extending for many miles can be accessed across the street. It's a hikers paradise. We are a half mile away from Cherry Hill Cohousing where we are associate members.
